Accessibility statement
We want this site to work with different devices and ways of browsing. This page explains what we do and how to tell us about a problem.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across ferndripcreativestudios.com.
What we do
- Motion is optional. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site settles down: looping clips stay on a still frame and the scroll animations hold still.
- A keyboard path. A “Skip to contact” link at the top of every page, and a visible outline on whatever has focus.
- Labels for screen readers. Form fields and buttons have names screen readers can announce, and photos and film stills have text descriptions.
- Readable contrast. Light text on a dark background keeps the words readable.
What we know isn't perfect yet
- Our films don't have captions yet. If you need a film's words in text, ask us and we'll send them.
- The home page's opening film and scroll scenes are visual. Their words are on the page, but the pictures themselves are best seen.
- We haven't yet had the site reviewed by people who use screen readers every day. That's on our list.
